139. God has a Purpose for Your Life

God has never broken a promise. If you love Him and you have received an insight through the Spirit of what you are to do, where you are to go, and a deepened understanding of His desire is for you to follow His path. It's kind of like a race; a race of insight and connection with the Spirit in you, who can lead you to fulfill the path you have been given. Psalm 138:8 assures "The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands."

When you know your purpose, it's important to follow three fundamental things in order to open your life to His service. First of all, you are to throw away the sin that entangles you. The sin in you can get you stuck. Hebrews 12:1 states "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such great cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us," The second part was in the last verse. It was talking about being able to be free to fulfill the race you are given. The third part is to focus on Him who gave you this purpose to fulfill the goal before you. It's about focusing on Him; Hebrews 12:2 "looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

God truly has a purpose for your life. Focusing on this purpose as you choose to fully trust Him opens up 'His way, His truth and His life' in and through you.

Be encouraged to go boldly onward as you trust Him and life your life through Him. Blessings, warrior!
