134. Your Time is in His Hands

In this time of the pandemic all of us have no choice but to trust someone or something... What does it produce when we choose to trust the news and the media? It's about listening and watching a continual flow of negative reports - mortality rates combined with aggression increasing in segregated families. It add nothing to assure ourselves or believe in others.

You may fear. The opposite of fear is faith. Psalm 31:14-15 "I trust in you, Lord; I say, 'You are my God. 'My times are in your hand.'" When you choose to fill your time with faith, fear slowly dissipates. When things in this world do not go on your timetable, the more you trust the Creator who created the concept of time, the less afraid you will be. Mark 5:36 says "Don't be afraid. Just trust me."

The message about "Do not fear" is in the Bible 365 times. During the time of my most personal fear and uncertainty I adopted the verse of Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

So, have a discussion with God and continue to seek support from trusted others. Release your doubts, frustrations and deepest thoughts to Him. When you do so and surrender your fears, anxieties, frustrations to Him, He will answer you in His timing. Trust His timing, for He is all-knowing.
