47. Are U Trying to Get New Results with Old Behaviors?

Have you ever tried get results from something that went poorly beforehand - and to your disappointment, when you tried it this time, it went poorly again. Been there and done that. Only upon being able to look clearly back had I seen that my actions were a part of the poor response I received. Ouch! My understanding became clear after some time had passed. I realized I simply cannot get or see new results with the old behaviors. It is the attitude and the behavior that needs to change for the outcome to be different. Matthew 12:37 states bluntly "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." Behavioral actions can also lead to condemnation.

Was whatever happened a part of your prayers? Were you able to see yourself in action? Not likely! Are you able to sense God clearly? Sensing God is hard for adults and so easy for kids. It is because of all your own doubts, questions and skepticism. I just wish to see myself in action with the old behaviors! This would make it more clear.

Jesus wanted us to become like little children to understand the Kingdom of God. Sin and our pride blocks us. We have allowed sin to come between us and God. Large part of the acknowledging our sin is that pride we try to hide but comes out in our behavior! There is a constant pull to succeed - academically, physically, emotionally, financially and spiritually. The last one listed, 'spiritually' often gets lost in the process. What this means we have stopped to sense our actions in spiritual realm as we often have not prayed about it.

It took prayers, humbling myself and inviting the Holy Spirit in for the spirit to be part of my life. What about you? Have you invited the Holy Spirit in? I sense the Holy Spirit as a peaceful, loving guidance to the direction I need to go to. There is peace in it! John 14:16-17 "and I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever - the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you."

Again, it is difficult to get new results with the old behaviors. The behaviors will change when you reach through your prayers to the one who knows all the answers. God understand this constant pull between succeeding in a secular versus spiritual world. In John 16:33 He says "...in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." The Father knows, is for us and not against us.

Getting new results occur when the old behaviors are given, in prayer, for the Father to shape them into something new and beautiful. Behaviors shaped through prayer get results! Blessings, Warrior! If you like these blogs, please "like" them to let me know. Feedback or questions are always welcome!
