32. You'll Never Know that God is all You Need Until God is all You Got. Where does Brokenness

In the last blog a discussion centered on modeling love of a believer despite your hurts. This is a continuation of the discussion.

Sometimes you feel all alone and it feels like God does not hear or doesn't even care about you. There are also other times in your life when He is all you have! During those times it hurts and you feel misunderstood, isolated and alone. It just seems no one cares about your feelings, opinions or things you hold dear to you. Then to top it all off you read about what you are supposed to feel, act and be like! It feels awful to be isolated, rejected and alone. Even when it doesn't feel you have anyone, the Father knows it, is in you and supporting you with His Divine presence during this stage. Deuteronomy 31:6 "...He is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you."

What does sinking to a place of brokenness mean to you on a personal level? What do you do then with your broken life? Personally, it has meant being able to recognize and grieve my own hurts, lament and discuss them with others and find compassion, empathy, safety and support. Resilience is the key. It's your choice to share you pain and find healing.

Luke 18:1-8 is about a parable of a persistent window. She tried until success occurred. The key point for that parable, resilience, can bring forth a great personal desire to heal from brokenness. The Holy Spirit truly can become your connection through these times of prayer and continue the invaluable guidance you need. To pray through the frustration while asking for help, followed by listening to His guidance, opens the door for the Lord to guide. If you embrace the pain, you will be stronger on the other side. What's more, you'll be stronger on the other side through the support you receive. When you are strong then you are able to model how you overcame your obstacles and strengthen others in need. Resilience is being built and this brings inner beauty in you.

Support can be embraced in different ways. You may need to be embraced by others, you may need to be heard, or you may need to have time and space to collect yourself, pray and listen to the Holy Spirit. The support I often need is the one through the nature while swimming or running; praying, speaking in tongues, listening to the Holy Spirit, to the birds singing; the sound of wind, the warmth of the sun. What is the help you need? Please respond to the hurts of your heart with love and compassion - for this derives deep inner healing. Learn to love and honor yourself in order to be able to love and honor others.

Have you ever met a person whom you have noticed is liked by everyone? Have you thought of the reason why? They are kind, considerate and caring toward themselves and others. Because they found love, they now show love and the other fruits of the spirit. If you have a discussion with them, you may find they have gone through, like you, a major event or events in their lives. They have discovered the love and support around and within them and are now displaying it to others. They live through the fruits of the spirit; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. It's their choice.

Now you are back to choosing which way you want to live. Will this stage of your life lead you to further brokenness or to further insight, fruits of the spirit and love to the Lord, toward yourself and toward others? Remember, at first you need to love yourself before being able to love others! This love displays the fruits of the spirit in you! You have the power to overcome adversity and brokenness within you the Lord to make things well.

Believers are strong! Regarding adversity, Luke 10:19 states "Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." The power is within us all through the amazing Lord we have.

Please please take great care of the hurts in your past in order to display the fruits of the spirit in your life, today, tomorrow and in all your future encounters! Blessings, beautiful bride of the Lord!
